The Georgia Tech men's basketball team was beat up by #2 Duke last night, losing by fourteen. But before the game even started, things began looking up for the program. South Atlanta High School power forward (6'8") Derrick Favors announced his verbal commitment to the Yellow Jackets, choosing the school over NC State and UGA. ESPN ranks Favors as the #2 prospect in America.
