Bradford Wins Heisman, Sets Up Match with Tebow

Bookmark

Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford was awarded the Heisman Trophy tonight, awarded to the NCAA's best college football player. Last year's winner, Florida QB Tim Tebow, finished third behind Texas QB Colt McCoy. This sets up an already intriguing matchup between Bradford and Tebow, who could both bet their Heisman that they'll come away with the crystal football. This is first time we've seen two Heisman winners in the National Championship game since Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart stood on the same sideline against Vince Young's Texas team.. who won. I think McCoy got screwed on this one, having beat Bradford head-to-head, but then again it seems the college football universe has it out for McCoy, who has been getting screwed pretty often these days. Ohio State better watch itself before McCoy drops 70 on them in the Fiesta Bowl.
